The New Brunswick Mining Association
The New Brunswick Mining Association participates in and strengthens New Brunswick’s mining sector.
As New Brunswick increases mining investment, suppliers and manufacturers - especially small and mid-sized firms—have an opportunity to play a much larger role in supplying equipment, components, and advanced technologies to the mining industry. For manufacturers, mining procurement can be a powerful growth opportunity, but one that is often complex, fragmented, and difficult to access.
The New Brunswick Mining Association is designed to help Canadian firms in mining and mining supply relevant fields navigate that environment and compete successfully.

Why This Matters
Spending in the mining industry and it’s supply chain is increasingly tied to economic growth, innovation, and supply-chain resilience. A strong domestic mining and industrial base helps New Brunswick:
- Strengthen our capability and resource security
- Protect existing and create new high-quality jobs
- Accelerate innovation in advanced technologies
- Enhance our New Brunswick capacity to produce and strengthen domestic supply chains
Why CME Has Re-Established The New Brunswick Mining Association
CME represents manufacturers across every major industrial sector in New Brunswick and in Canada and will strategically partner to re-establish the New Brunswick Mining Association. As New Brunswick investment grows, the New Brunswick Mining Association will:
- Support mining companies, their supply chains and manufacturers entering or expanding in mining supply chains by delivering programs that build capacity, productivity, and readiness
- Improve visibility of Canadian and New Brunswick industrial capabilities, particularly among Tier 2 and Tier 3 suppliers
- Help connect government, prime contractors, the mining “eco-system” and the domestic manufacturer network
- Create awareness and be a voice for the industry
- Support Indigenous economic partnerships
- Promote an impactful policy and regulatory environment, sustainable mining practises, and an attractive investment climate
- Use our expertise and history in association management to our member’s benefit
